You will be the initial point of contact for incoming phone calls, visitors, parents and learners. We are looking for someone who has excellent, written, communication, and organisation skills with the ability to be able to relate to parents, colleagues, and learners to build positive ongoing relationships. In addition, to the receptionist role you will also support the Academy by providing a flexible, productive and responsive administrative service across a range of departments so versatility and resourcefulness is essential. Dudley Academies Trust was formed in September 2017 under the sponsorship of Dudley College of Technology. Our Trust schools are St James Academy, The Link Academy, Pegasus Academy, Beacon Hill Academy and Blowers Green Primary. The Trust when combined with the sponsor, annually supports 8,500 young people aged 4 to 19 years old and employs almost 1,300 staff. The Trust recognises that our staff are our most valuable asset and investing in our people is a key strategic priority for the Trust. A common and extensive programme of staff development operates across the Trust, this is extended to senior and middle leaders, aspiring leaders, teaching and support staff and non-qualified teachers.     Always looking for great people for great jobs PA to the Principal – The Link Academy - Dudley Academies Trust £25,082.00 to £27,422 per annum (39 weeks per year / 37 hours per week Following the retirement of the current post-holder Dudley Academies Trust is looking to recruit a PA to the Principal at the Link Academy. You will be highly organised, proactive and self-motivated with experience of working in a fast paced and confidential environment. As well as diary management, the co-ordination of meeting papers and note taking, this role includes organising Academy events and liaison with parents, governors and a range of external agencies. With a minimum of 2 years experience in a PA role you will have proven experience at this level in an organisation, your ICT and literacy skills will be first-rate. Working with colleagues from the Human Resources Team central team you will support the key HR functions, including the administration of the recruitment process, liaison with the for contractual, payroll and pension administration, monitoring and recording absences and ensuring safeguarding measures are in place for staff and regular visitors. You will have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to build working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. You must be able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision and use your own initiative.
