Dudley Academies Trust celebrated its first year in operation by significantly improving results in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science and with Attainment up in all four of its academies.

Jo Higgins, Chief Executive of Dudley Academies Trust, said “There is much more to do, but I am delighted with the progress shown in these encouraging and rewarding results. For Attainment to rise in all four academies is great news for the staff who went through a year of changes and very hard work to get us on the road to success. A big ‘thank you’ to all of them.”

Individual success stories include Daniel Hickman from Beacon Hill Academy, who gained 5 Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and a Distinction * and is now heading to Dudley Sixth.
