Blowers Green Primary is celebrating a strong Ofsted report which recognises the school’s caring, inclusive and ambitious approach to primary education. Inspectors said pupils “experience a high-quality education”, are “valued and enjoy coming to school”, and are supported by staff who are “incredibly caring”.
Following the inspection in June 2026, Blowers Green Primary achieved a Strong standard in six areas: achievement, attendance and behaviour, curriculum and teaching, inclusion, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing. Safeguarding standards were also met.
This latest achievement is particularly special because Blowers Green Primary was rated Outstanding in its previous two Ofsted reports and has now gone on to achieve a Strong standard under Ofsted’s new inspection framework. It is an incredible reflection of the school’s sustained commitment to giving children the very best start to their education.
The report paints a warm picture of life at Blowers Green, where children are welcomed, known well and encouraged to play an active part in school life. Inspectors highlighted that pupils feel safe, behave very well and enjoy purposeful learning. They also recognised the many opportunities pupils have to take on leadership roles, including as members of the junior leadership team and as prefects.
Blowers Green’s inclusive ethos was also praised strongly. Ofsted described the school as “highly inclusive” and said leaders create an environment where pupils are supported and able to succeed. Staff work closely with families and external agencies, helping children with different needs to access the curriculum and wider school opportunities alongside their peers.
The report also celebrates the rich primary experiences on offer. Pupils benefit from inclusive clubs, sporting opportunities, music, visits linked to the curriculum, an annual outdoor education residential, and Blowers Green’s own art gallery and museum, where pupil curators help to organise the spaces and bring learning to life.

The Ofsted report highlighted that:
- Pupils are valued, enjoy coming to school and experience a high-quality education.
- The school was recognised as highly inclusive, with staff who know pupils well and provide thoughtful support.
- Children benefit from a rich primary experience, including pupil leadership, music, sport, curriculum visits, an outdoor residential, and the school’s own art gallery and museum.
- Ofsted praised pupils’ behaviour, strong achievement, caring relationships and highly effective pastoral support.
