The main responsibilities of this post will be to ensure that all learners are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential by raising the standards of teaching and learning in mathematics and that all academies raise levels of attainment and progress. The successful candidate will be directed in this work by the Chief Executive. The post holder will need to interact on a professional level with a wide range of colleagues to seek to establish and maintain positive and productive relationships. The post holder will also be required to promote mutual understanding of learners’ progress, with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and learning across the Trust. You will have a proven track record of highly effective leadership which has resulted in improved outcomes in mathematics. You will be an outstanding role model capable of inspiring others to aim for the highest standards in teaching and learning practice. You will provide high quality assessment of teaching and learning in the Trust, incorporating constructive feedback that will assist teachers to achieve exemplary levels of performance. You will also work with teaching staff in a trainer or mentor capacity to develop their teaching and share good practice.
